101: Introduction to Biblical Reproductive Grief Care
This is our foundational course where all learners will benefit from biblical grief care basics, formally called Help to Hope. Knowing what to say or how to help when someone is hurting from a reproductive loss can be difficult. This workshop presents ways to better understand loss, learn healing language and recognize the biblical model of grieving with hope. This class is for everyone; the individual helpers in churches and clinics, family members, and ministry staff and volunteers.

For those new to the ministry of reproductive grief care, this introductory class is an excellent pathway to learning the rippling effect on individuals and their loved ones. Recognize the impact and need for various support and how to create a support network to refer healing immediately.
Building a Reproductive Grief Care Team
Reproductive loss surrounds us, but how to offer care can seem overwhelming. We aim to help you advance confidently in addressing this vital need for an expanded reproductive loss ministry. Learn how to plan, develop and maintain a compassionate team and connect with your greater community.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:
- Confidently begin to develop a plan for a reproductive grief care program suited for their clinic size and culture.
- Discuss and apply ways to increase reproductive loss awareness within current clinic services.
- Research and compile a robust care network of community, church and ministry partnerships.
Session activities will consist of the following:
- Explore readily available resources to provide compassionate care immediately.
- Create a Next Steps list for developing a reproductive grief care team.
- In an open format, discuss how to adopt a long-term plan for sustainability and measurable success for staff and volunteers.
Timeline of Care
Learn how to care well for the hurting by considering their grief timeline. Every individual grieves differently, and having a baseline of considerations can be helpful while you navigate the journey together.
This one-hour seminar will outline compassionate ways to support individual sand their families. By demonstrating a presence of thoughtfulness and love, a well-care plan can bring the presence of Christ in a time most needed.
This 1-hour workshop covers:
